Heating and Cooling Services
Is your vehicle running hot? Overheating? Does the engine leak green fluid from the cooling system? Are the belts due for replacement? Are the hoses over 4 years old? Any of these conditions may indicate the need for service or repairs to your vehicle's engine cooling system.

At Menlo Chevron, we have certified technicians who will perform a professional inspection of the system, providing you with a complete analysis of the current conditions and the estimated cost of repair. Menlo Chevron is a full service repair facility.

Engine Cooling/Radiator Services
The engine cooling system is comprised of many different components that all must work correctly for the system to cool the engine properly. Any one component that fails can effect the entire system, consequently causing an engine overheating condition.

Cooling system failure is the number one reason for automotive breakdown on our nation's highways. Unlike a flat tire, you can't stop and put on a spare. A failure of the engine cooling system will mean a trip to the repair shop behind a tow truck, which is why it is important that you have periodic inspections and regular maintenance of the cooling system.

The key components of the cooling system we replace or repair are:

Radiator
Radiator cap
Radiator hoses
Radiator fan/fan clutch
Anti-freeze
Water pump
Thermostat
Fan belts
Serpentine belt
Cooling sensor
Heater core
Heater hoses

Most vehicle manufacturers recommend replacement of the anti-freeze every two years. Unlike many service shops that just perform a "drain-and-fill", Menlo Chevron provides a complete radiator flushing service that includes the following:
Inspect system and pressure test for leaks
Add flush chemicals to the radiator
Power flush system through flush machine
Refill system with proper amount of recycled anti-freeze
Add sealant/lubricant to the system
6 month/6,000 mile warranty
